Become A Supporter

We are extremely grateful to our fellow donors and sponsors for your support as we carry out our mission: To help parents raise strong, healthy Black children, no matter the age, by providing support to parents to help our sons to RISE … despite the challenges we may face with mental wellness or addiction issues.

Your generosity will help accelerate our ability to offer thoughtful content with experts and experienced parents from all over the United States. Because of you, we were also able to offer direct support to two families who faced a crisis and were in need of a moment of JOY.

Please join with other SonRise Supporters and make an immediate impact on the lives of our parents. Whether a large sponsorship or whatever you can afford, any amount makes a difference in the lives of families who need ongoing support.

Testimonials

“I want to express my gratitude for the Sonrise Project. The Sonrise Project is a large part of why I'm able to make it through each week. If I feel down, I listen to replays of the sessions. It makes a difference to know I'm not alone and to know that if I'm really struggling with something, I just have to wait until Sunday morning to speak up and ask my question...with no judgment. “

“I am relatively new to the call and love the sessions. I appreciate all that you do to bring information and resources to this group and to build and foster a sense of community. Thank you!”

“It is a really great space for learning and sharing. We have discovered this at a critical time in our son's life and believe it can help us better support what he needs.”

“Having these family issues is hard and I’ve felt judged by everyone - until Sonrise. Thank you!

“Thank you again for the SonRise Project. I appreciate the safe space provided and all those who have had the courage to share their stories, concerns, and resources.”

“Before I began participating in Sonrise, I felt completely hopeless and helpless. That is not a safe place to be. I no longer feel hopeless and I'm slowly moving beyond helpless. We still have a long way to go, but at least I'm not giving up.”
