Dr. Sherrá Watkins

Sherrá Watkins, Ph.D., LCMHC-S, LCAS, CRC, CCS, BC-TMH, is the Director of Wellness Counseling at the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in Saint Maarten.

She earned her degrees from East Carolina University, including a Doctorate of Philosophy degree in Rehabilitation Counseling & Administration, a Master of Science degree in Clinical Counseling & Substance Abuse Counseling, a Master of Arts in Education degree in Health Education, and a Bachelor of Science degree in School Health Education.

Watkins’ research focuses on decreasing the stigma of mental health, chronic pain, and chronic diseases among African Americans. She is the co-owner of Sister WELLS, Coaching, Counseling & Consulting, PLLC (2017) with Charla Blumell and Shawnte' Elbert, all who are proud members of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated.
